The Farmstokk® B5 battery fencer, delivering 0.36 joules of energy, is designed for optimal performance on up to 4 km of clean fence line and is particularly effective for strip grazing systems. This unit comes with a 3-year manufacturing warranty and is compatible with various types of fencing wire, tape, and rope.
Ideal for mobile applications in small pastures with minimal vegetation, the Farmstokk B5 is well-suited for horse paddocks and cow pastures. It can also be used for smaller animals such as dogs, cats, and poultry. The fencer operates on both 9v (included) and 12v batteries; for the latter, an adapter cable (FEN00133) is recommended to connect a 12-volt wet battery.
The device features a rotary switch that allows manual adjustment of the pulse amplitude across five levels to manage power consumption according to specific fence conditions. It includes a low battery indicator along with visual checks for fence insulation and battery voltage. An LED indicator flashes red when either the 9-volt or the 12-volt rechargeable battery is depleted.
For optimal performance and longevity, it is advised to remove the battery when not in use and store it in a cool, dry place. The package includes a 9v battery, output leads, and an earth bar.
